Finally we have moved the site to a virtual private server for more control, better security and faster load times. It has taken a little while to do the move, sort the VPS out so everything works as it should. There are still a couple of little bugs to sort but all in all the forums are back, the blogs back and more importantly the directory is back.

Our VPS hosts SLHost have been nothing but helpful and their support is second to none, I recommend them to everyone.

Directory Owners is holding another contest for May-June but this time it is for phpLynx directory script entries only.
Prizes include $200 cash from phpLynx and a full paid version of the phpLynx script as well as a full page write up and front page recognition at directory owners.

Entries can be submitted at the directory owners forums using the correct submission format.

Global Internet Index (gii.in) has won the Directory Owners directory of the month contest for April 2007. The directory boasts some 1000 sub categories and receives traffic in the vicinity of 50000 uniques / month. Mods for the directory include DeepLinks Mod, Categories Structure, Articles Mod and some others that we are not privvy to.

Using the seomoz pagestrength tool we can see Global Internet Index having a PS 6.5 which puts the directory in the powerful directory category in anyones eyes.
