Default What websites have the best designs?

I think that simpler is better, thats why i perfer google over yahoo..
I think some of the best designed websites are:

GENSOU.NET
Nexus, the Kingdom of the Winds
Break.com - Funny Pictures, Online Games & Funny Video Clips

They are all simple- non flashy layouts with minimal annoying advertisements :]

If I am looking for something "niche" and the site is done in flash or high graphics then I put up with it, otherwise when I'm generally just surfing I go with the simpler= faster method.

i have to agree with the flash and high graphics. i always wondered how come some commerical sites do their flash very well(eg movie sites) but some are high D that it takes long loading time plus they have pop ups that are irritating. i can do without those. ads are fine, just not pop ups.
