how do i make yahoo the default search engine?

If you download the Yahoo! Toolbar, It should do it automatically. Just like the DigFind Search Toolbar!

There is a way of defaulting your browser to use what ever search engine you want but can't remember how to do it at the moment.

Real simple. Right click on Internet explorer, either the icon on your desktop or right from the start menu. clicking on Explorer will bring up a short list, choose internet properties.At the top of that page it brings up will be a series of tabs. Click on general and right at the top there is a box labeled homepage. Delete whatever address you have in there and replace with yahoo's address or whatever site you want to use.The person who answered before me is also correct.
